Big flat with hostel 6 person dorm

Welcome to my place !
A modern renovated flat with balcony, a few minutes from the main trainstation "part dieu", and very easy access by public transportation.
Warning : This ad is not for the whole flat nor for the whole room. It is a dormitory you will share with other people, and I live in the other room. You can have the whole dormitory for you, if available, just request it quite much in advance (more than one month usually).
The price is per person and per night for a place in the dormitory. You might have two different single bed if you reserve for 2 people, except if we have place on the double bed and you mention in advance. Of course, we don't mix people from different groups in the double bed :)
You will enjoy the common areas of my 87 sq.m flat, I will take care of you like I would do with friends (if I'm here of course) and you have access to shared areas with other guests (bathroom, toilet, kitchen, living room, balcony)
About practical things : the kitchen is fully equipped (coffee machine for americano and espresso, dish washer, fridge, deep freezer, cooking appliance, oven, dishes, pots, frying pan, etc etc.). You can use this all for free, as far as you clean after use.
The payement is made in advance on the website, that allows you to have a secure transaction, you don't have to pay anything when arriving. You'll get a spare set of keys per person, and you can come back and forth in the flat as you want.
depending on availability, you can get maps of lyon, advice of a local !
About rules : I ask some common sense rules, that will be given after confirmated reservation. Most important is no smoking rule in the flat, no noise after 10pm, no shoes in flat, no food or drinks in rooms. Of course, nothing particular, just good sense !

- May I pay cash when arriving ? :
no, reservations are only online with the website. The website ensures you a safe transaction and after sale support in case of a problem. The payment will be transfered to me by the website after your arrival.
- Someone will welcome us ? :
Most of the time, I do welcome guests by myself, but it can happen, depending on my schedule and your arrival time, that I send the keys by post, or have a friend welcome you at home. In any case you must disturb my neighbours, ask information or anything. They're not supposed to help you and don't want to be disturbed by my activity.
- Are we alone in the flat ? :
No, the flat is my flat, and I live there most of the time, except holidays or business trips. One room is mine (but also sometimes rented as a private double if I'm away) and the other is a dormitory (cheaper and shared). Depending on the ad you selected, you have one or the other. Thus, it can be up to 8 people in the flat (it never happened :) )
- Where is the flat ? :
My flat is located where the map shows on the website. You're 50 meters from the nearest bus stop, that gets you to the train station in 5 minutes, or in bellecour place (central place) in about 15 minutes. You can reach part dieu station in 15 minutes by foot, the other side of lyon in 1h walking slowly.
- Do we have keys to get in the flat ? :
Yes, I'll leave you one set of keys per person.
- May we invite friends in the flat ? :
Generally speaking no, for safety reasons. Still, if I'm present and if you ask, I can make exceptions, but it has to be during the day without disturbing other guests.
- Do you have a locker ? :
Unfortunately, not yet !
- May we cook in the place / leave food in the fridge ? :
Of course, the only rule is to leave kitchen as you found it, not to leave food without saying and putting your name (a marker is available), and not to use my items of course !
- Where can I smoke ? :
In no case inside the flat (moreover, you might trigger a fire alarm), but between 7am and 10pm you can smoke on the balcony. For the rest of the time, you can do so outside of the building, quietly.
- Can I park / Is it a safe area ? :
No-one yet complained about parking issues, nor about anything broken on his/her car ! The area is generally safe like France in general.
- Is the flat clean ? :
Yes, bed linen is changed after every guest, and every week for long stay. Cleaning is done at least 2 times a week, the flat is kept very clean.
- May we access the Internet ?
Yes, there is free Wifi in the whole flat.

The correspondence of scale depends on the date of realization of the DPE. For a DPE issued since July 1st, 2021, the values E, F and G differ for properties in climatic zones H1b, H1c and H2d and at an altitude above 800m. Please contact the lessor to find out about these elements.

Une solution très pratique quand on a un budget limité, et l'accueil est bien organisé. Il vaut mieux être sociable vu la chambre partagée, sachant que l'appartement est plutôt grand. Les transports en commun sont à proximité, c'est une bonne base pour se déplacer en ville. Le séjour s'est très bien passé.
