This apartment could not be in a better position in the Marais, right on the beautiful calm wooded square, the “Marché St. Catherine”, hidden away in the middle of the city with little to no traffic and a variety of restaurants at your doorstep. If you care to venture out of this little hideaway, you will discover the Marais itself, home to the French nobility from the pre-renaissance to the post-renaissance, and therefore a walking museum of architectural history. Within 10 minutes walking distance to the South, you are in Saint Germain - Saint Michel, located on the left bank of the Seine river.

Having undergone a renaissance itself in the last 20 years, the Marais is now one of Paris’ most fashionable areas, donning hip bistros and cafés on countless corners, terraces full of chic Parisians watching chic Parisians.
For the shopper looking for unique cloths, many young creators have chosen the Marais for their boutiques. Antique shops abound in the St. Paul antique area, as well as design and art galleries. In addition to the Place du Marché St. Catherine, good and unique restaurants thrive, and an assortment of any other kind of boutique desired, from chocolate to jewelry, to frozen yogurt, are also easily found.
Food shopping is very good in the area, with the rue St. Paul area just acroos the street, literally two-minute’s walk from the apartment, with plenty of all you need: butchers, bakeries, cheese shops, fresh fish, as well as fresh fruit, vegetables, and caterers...not to mention 3 supermarkets.
