Description
A stone's throw from Paris - it is a 5 minutes walk to Paris' 14th Arrondissement - this charming stone house from 1914 marries old-world charm and modern comfort. Protected by its green setting, it is warm and friendly.
Exposed to the South, you can enjoy the terrace and garden whenever the sun comes out. Bright thanks to its many windows, the house is pleasant to live whether in winter or summer. It is sheltered from the strong sun by its beautiful Maple tree.
With the living room and kitchen on the 1st floor, and the bedrooms on the 2d floor, the house is well organized and convenient. Each of the bedrooms has a queen size bed. One is equipped with a large closet and the other with à desk. The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms.
On the ground floor, a welcoming lounge awaits you for your rest after your long walks in Paris. If necessary the sofa is transformed into a comfortable double bed. Thus assuring bedding for 6 people.
The living room and the kitchen are opening on the terrace. Therefore, you can easily enjoy the sun to lunch outside or simply savor à cup of coffee.
Guest Access
Guests have access to all of the house's equipments. The kitchen is fully equipped: induction electric cooker, Microwave, electric oven, dishwasher, espresso machine, toaster, cooking robots, etc.
In the living room there is everything you need to chill out : TV, DVD & Blue Ray player, HiFi. And we invite you to discover our many books.
There is an open Internet access through Wifi.
In the basement there is the washing machine in the laundry room.
Transports
The house is 5 minutes away by foot from Paris, 14th Arrondissement. It is a 3 minutes walk from the house to the RER station Gentilly, where trains take you in 10 minutes to the historical center of Paris with the B Line. At the Gentilly RER station there is also à Vélib rental bike spot.
It is à 10 minutes walk to the "Parc Montsouris" Tramway station.
Connexion to the Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports are direct and very simple through the RER B line. Connecting to Charles de Gaulle airport will take you 50 minutes by train, and its a 20 minutes ride to Orly airport. Orly is a 15 minutes away from the house by Taxi.
If you have a car, you can park on front if the house.
The Area
The house is located in a calm residential area, at the doors of the 13th and 14th arrondissement of Paris. It offers all the advantages of the city and the quietness of the suburbs.
At the end of our street you will find a very good French bakery, but also one of the best Portuguese bakery of South Paris. There is a small supermarket at a 3 minutes walk from the house, where you can find all the supplies you need for your stay.
It is a 10 minutes walk to the park of the International University Cité, with its sport complex, its welcoming lawn.
Just across from the University, you can enjoy the beautiful Montsouris Park created in the 19th century to offer Parisians a place to stroll and breathe fresh air. From there, a large alley with centennial trees leads directly to the Denfert Rochereau square, and its "Art Deco" district.
You can also chose to discover the 13th arrondissement with its chinese district or the Butte-aux-cailles, less famous then Montmartre, but as charming.
All these historical places are less than 15 minutes away, if you hop on the tram or rent à bike - there is à Vélib station 3 minutes from the house.
Disneyland Paris is only 35 minutes away from the house by car, or 1h with the RER train.

The tram station Monstouris is at 10 minutes walk.
The House is located in a quiet residential area, at the gates of the 13th and 14th arrondissements of Paris. It offers all the advantages of the city and the quiet of the suburbs.
At 10 minute walk from the Park of the Cité Universitaire Internationale, its sports facilities and cosy lawns. Directly opposite, the Montsouris Park created in the 19th century to allow Paris to get some fresh air. From there an alley of trees reached directly place Denfert Rochereau and his 'Art Deco' district. The Daguerre Street, with its merchants and cozy restaurants, has everything from a small village.
Unless you decide to go to the discovery of the 13th arrondissement, the Butte - aux-Cailles - less known than Montmartre but yet charming - or Chinatown. With a Velib, these places of history and charm are only 15 minutes from the House.
Disneyland Paris is 35 minutes by car and 1 h RER from the House.

Appartement spacieux, confortable et dans une rue très calme.
Il comporte tout le nécessaire et même plus (livres et bd très appréciés par nos ados).
A proximité de la cité internationale universitaire et donc du rer B zone 1
