Welcome to our "canut" style apartment (former silk manufacture). A short walk from the buzzing center of Lyon, we are perfectly located to immerse yourself in the rich history of the "Croix Rousse" quarter, with its typical restaurants and market.
We are a young French - German couple of 30 and 33 years old with a 3 year old child. Having met in Ireland, we are living in Lyon for 4 years now.
The flat is 83 m2, and we have a lot of light during the day which makes it really pleasant. You will be next to one of biggest farmers markets of France (every day 8-12 h, except Mondays), a supermarket (downstairs), a bakery, lots of restaurants as well as a shopping street.
Croix Rousse is located on a hill overlooking the the city center.
The main sights of the city can be reached by a scenic walk or by a short metro ride. The closest metro station (Croix Rousse) is 500 meters away. There is a direct bus to the main train station (Part Dieu or Perrache).
