Julien's place was exactly as it appeared in the Morning Croissant listing - pristine and brightly lit. The hot pink geraniums outside the windows were even still in bloom.
It was the perfect place to stay. There are three different metro stations within a short walk as well as wonderful cafes and Sacre Coeur and Montmartre.
Using the metro, you can get to anywhere in the city from Julien's in a matter of minutes. An excellent location!
Because it's an older building, I expected it might be noisy but I could barely hear the neighbours.
One is a pianist and just off in the distance, I could often hear the quietest piano notes. It was quite pretty. Julien, himself, was a wonderful host.
When I arrived he made sure I was properly greeted and was always very prompt to answer any questions. He also provided a list of his favourite places in the neighbourhood which were fun to explore.
Staying at Julien's lets you see what it would feel like to be a local. I'd return in a heartbeat and have already recommended his flat to friends.

Nous avons été accueillis par une charmante personne (Rachel) dans un logement propre et à la déco sympa. Parmi les bonnes surprises, un lave-vaisselle qui ne figurait pas dans le descriptif.
Le soir, nous avons pu profiter d’une bonne literie. Par contre, bémol pour le lit d’appoint (pour notre fils de 4 ans). La couette supplémentaire, mise à disposition, est hors d’usage !! Pas d’oreillers supplémentaires non plus (nous avons du prendre un des coussins). Heureusement, Rachel nous a gentiment prêté une parure de lit. Il est urgent de rectifier ce point, surtout qu’un supplément est demandé pour une troisième personne.
Au final, nous sommes contents de notre séjour.
Anne M. December 2012 Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Julien, l'appartement est très bien agencé on y circule bien même à trois. Je recommande vivement cet appartement, il est clair, au calme, plein de petits commerces aux alentours et métro pas loin. Julien a été très sympathique lors de la réservation, contact facile, réponse rapides par mail et par téléphone cool !

Un seul petit bémol il serait temps d'investir dans une couette pour le couchage d'appoint...

Mes 2 enfants ont bien dormi sur un lit d'appoint confortable , l'appartement était propre ,accueillant et fonctionnel .

If you like to stay in a cozy appartment in Montmartre - it doesn't get any better.

Looks exactly as it does it the pictures, has everything you could need, very close to the metro station and even closer to supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants.
Beautiful area of Montmartre to stay in, would highly recommend this studio apartment.
