Charming flat - central & lively

Our flat is located between Belleville and Colonel Fabien metro stations, on the second floor of a secure building. A cosmopolitan area less than 10 min walk away from Canal Saint Martin and the biggest parks in Paris: the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, Parc de la Villette and Parc de Belleville but also to the very famous Père Lachaise Cemetery.
On your way there, you will find plenty of quaint streets, bars, traditional French and foreign cuisine restaurants and clubs but also several supermarkets (frozen food, organic shops, supermarkets, grocery stores and convenient stores). This area is colourful, multi-ethnic and also home to one of the city's two Chinatowns.
The flat has direct access to Gare Saint-Lazare and Gare de l’Est by bus and is also close to Gare du Nord (Eurostar trains and shuttles to both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports) and Gare de Lyon.
The flat is 50 meters away from a Vélib and an Autolib stations.
Both metro (lines 2 & 11) as well as buses (lines 26, 46 and 75) will allow you to reach Paris's main landmarks easily and quickly:

- République 10min (change here for metro lines 3, 5, 8, 9, 11)
- Bastille 15min
- Hotel de Ville (Town house) and Marais area 15min

The flat is fully & nicely furnished and decorated with many plants and vintage ornaments. Passed the entrance way, there is a functional bathroom with toilets, shower, sink and washing machine/dryer at your disposal. We will provide you with towels, a hairdryer and hair straighteners.
You will then find a long kitchen with everything you need for meals and breakfasts: oven/microwave, stove, fridge and many utilities: blender, coffee machine, toaster, fryer, food processor, pots & pans, Raclette machine, plancha/grill, baking tin, many utensils and spices... For cleaning the house you can use the hoover, iron and ironing board, mop and broom as well as all the cleaning products.
You can use all the cooking facilities but please make sure to replace everything you use and leave them in an as good state as you found them!

The living room is very bright as there is daylight as from morning to twilight. The living room and bedroom both give onto a little court yard with trees and plants and is away from the streets so you can have windows open any time of the day (please make sure that you close them when you go out though).
The living room is very nicely decorated with vintage maps and decoration from all around the world, photos of amazing landscapes and our family ;-) , plants and a very decorative library made out of wooden French wine & Champagne boxes! We do have city guides in English & French as well as books advising you on best places to eat, drink and visit in Paris!
The television has many channels and you can also use Netflix; therefore you can watch TV, series and movies in French, English and many other languages. We also have an Xbox 360 to play video games, watch DVDs or play CDs as well as a turn-table to listen to vinyl discs.
Our vintage and cosy couch can also be used as a double sized bed with a proper mattress which makes it very comfortable. We will also provide you with sheets and pillows. Both living room and bedroom have curtains for you to have a nice lay in without being bothered by daylight! We usually eat on cushions on the floor but you can also use the folding chairs we have.
The bedroom is very nice and light and has a queen-sized bed. We will provide you with bed sheets and can also free some space in the mirrored cupboards upon request (prior to your arrival please).
Our wifi will be provided to you upon arrival.
Smokers are welcome (but not in the bedroom please) and we are pet-friendly.We are an enthusiastic young couple: Jo (the guy) & Amy (the girl). We would like to welcome you in our home, and can do so in French, English (Amy is Welsh) and Spanish as well as in Italian (but it might be more difficult for that one ;-)).
This flat is our loving home, we hope you will enjoy your stay and feel as if it were yours! Meanwhile, please use it with as much love and attention as you would do with your own home!
We will rent you the flat clean and tidy, we request to come back home and find it in the same state as we left it.

We will leave some instructions in the flat about house rules along with city maps and recommendations for your stay (visits, museums, bars & restaurant) in Paris.
During your stay, you can text us anytime you like in case of needs or if you have any questions / issues.
